Hello Howlfest Attendees,
Back in May, the Southern Nevada Anthropomorphic Events (SNAE) Board of Directors adopted the CARPEDIEM Resolution to protect refundability / credits for LVFC attendees. The CARPEDIEM policy has been amended further as of September 8th, 2026 to reflect the existence of SNAE sister events such as Las Vegas Howlfest and GROWL.
CARPEDIEM Policies
- Convention registrations are refundable up until 30 days after the convention, unless picked up.
- Unclaimed registrations roll over indefinitely at face value until claimed, e.g. an unclaimed $99 registration will discount $99 off future registrations.
- Unused bundled vouchers (i.e. the ones received staying at Alexis Park or Serene) remain valid indefinitely.
- Forfeited hotel deposits (e.g. from cancellation close to the event) are retained as credit on accounts and may be used to pay for registration, rooms, etc. in ConCat provided the convention is notified.
- Credits, comps, registrations may be transferred between all SNAE events where ticketing/booking financials are handled directly by SNAE and its Treasury. The transfer is done at face value and any excess is retained as credit; it is the responsibility of the attendee to remind staff of any credits. Examples:
- You pay $99 for LVFC registration but cannot attend. You ask [email protected] to transfer to Las Vegas Howlfest in October 2027. Your $99 is transferred to Howlfest; Howlfest tickets are $85, so your account is marked as having $14 in unused credit.
- You cancelled your hotel room late for Howlfest 2027 and have a $200 credit on your account. You can attend LVFC 2028. You ask [email protected] to transfer your credit to LVFC 2028; the $200 is applied to your reg and hotel room for LVFC 2028.
- You have a spare voucher for $99 from LVFC. You ask for it to be applied to Howlfest; Howlfest tickets are $85, so your account is marked as having $14 in unused credit.
We understand we have been implementing numerous changes to hotel, registration, etc. as our fifth year approaches. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to [email protected] or [email protected].
